Artist Paul King
Paul King is an American artist, musician and veteran motion graphics 3D artist and animator with a B.A in Advertising. Using a digital airbrush program, King hand illustrates photo-realistic portraits (slight caricatures) of famous Musicians, Actors, Sports Figures and Notables. A single portrait takes about 25-30 hours to complete while drawing a rock and roll band takes a week. All portraits are painted from scratch using digital airbrush and watercolor brushes.

King has explored and utilised a variety of mediums and tools throughout his entire career including, graphics, animations, watercolors and portraits.

When working on his animations, King prefers to use Maxon Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as Adobe After Effects. And, when working on his drawings, King states that in addition to pencil, he also uses an airbrushing program.
